Tony C. Mitchell is an accomplished musician, producer, and entrepreneur with over 35 years of experience. He holds a Bachelor’s in Music Business and Technology, a Master’s in Education, and an Associate’s in Fine Arts. Rooted in a musical family, his career began in high school, performing in nightclubs and collaborating with notable gospel and R&B artists. Tony’s achievements include international music reach, performing at the Congressional Black Caucus, opening for legendary gospel acts, and contributing to film and TV production.

As the founder and CEO of Downbeat Resolution Studio and host of ‘Claiming Your Destiny,’ Tony blends his passion for music, education, and event coordination. DRS, based in Bertie County, NC, specializes in audio and video production, marketing, event planning, and music lessons. Licensed as an LLC, the studio serves as a hub for creativity, community building, and empowering artistic dreams.

Tony expanded his education by attending the Art Instruction School, Norfolk State University, Chowan University, Strayer University, East Carolina University, Elizabeth City State University, and Liberty University.
